To make a donation in your Will
A donation to the Foundation in your Will, in the first instance, will be made to the Conservative Party, and then transferred to the Foundation. Please click on the download the declaration (PDF) link for suitable wording to take along to your Solicitor.
- Step 1 - Read and download our advice (PDF) on what you need to consider before making a donation in your Will.
- Step 2 - Read and download the declaration (PDF) and download the suggested wording (PDF).
- Step 3 - Visit your solicitor to discuss amending your Will to make a donation to the Foundation, taking the Declaration with you.
- Step 4 - Please tell us that you intend to make a donation by telephoning the Foundation on 020 7389 3838 or email guy.leadbeater@theconservativefoundation.co.uk.
To be eligible to make a donation to the Foundation you must be listed on a United Kingdom electoral register.
Because your donation to the Foundation is routed through the Conservative Party, it will, under current tax rules, be free of inheritance tax. It also means that your donation will be disclosed to the Electoral Commission. Please click on the Privacy Policy link for details of how and why information is passed on.
