Our purpose is to guarantee that the Party is always able to argue for the values that all Conservatives can agree upon: cherishing freedom, personal responsibility, and an opportunity society, not an overpowering state.

The Conservative Party Foundation has been established to safeguard the Party's finances for the longer term. It is the secure capital fund that will make donations to the Party's campaign and other strategic spending - all without mortgaging its future strength.

The Foundation's Board oversees the Fund's donations to the Party which can never be more than 20% of the Foundation's capital fund in any electoral cycle (normally four years). Furthermore, independent asset managers plan the Fund's investment strategy for the long-term.

Meet the Board

The Foundation has worked closely with the Electoral Commission to ensure that donations to the Foundation (via the Conservative Party, as described in the section entitled 'Act Now') comply fully with the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act of 2000.
